Rod Stewart cancelled his show at Caesars Palace's Colosseum just hours before start time on Tuesday (June 2), citing health concerns on social media.

“I am sorry to inform you that I’m not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,” he shared on Instagram story. “Your tickets will be valid for the new date. Sir Rod.”

The 80-year-old musician didn't disclose what's ailing him, but the fact that he's not cancelling any other dates is a good sign.

Stewart is also slated to perform at the iconic Glastonbury festival in the UK later this month and recently confirmed he'd be joined by his Faces bandmate, and current Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood during the set.

The Colosseum show is part of a Las Vegas residency that was recently extended into September and October. Stewart is also gearing up for his "One Last Time" tour, which he declared "will be the end of large-scale world tours."

However, he also admitted he has "no desire to retire."

“I love what I do, and I do what I love,” Stewart wrote in a statement last November. “I’m fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.”

“I’d like to move onto a Great American Songbook, Swing Fever tour the year after next – smaller venues and more intimacy," he added. "But then again, I may not…”

For now you can see a full list of Stewart's current tour dates on his official website.
